This is a collection of programming projects that I created to practice using creative tools, such as Processing and P5.

FALLING LETTERS

This Processing sketch creates the opportunity for users to express their thoughts and then quickly melts them away into a pool of bouncing letters. The user begins by typing and watches as his or her words fall to the bottom of the page, where they begin to collide. The collisions cause them to become so jumbled up that they are no longer readable.

CRACKING ICE

This is a project for an interactive space in which a room was divided into the four seasons, summer, fall, winter spring. My team designed an Ice Age-inspired winter theme, where we gave users the ability to move a laser cut acorn around the room and, consequently, cause cracks in ice projected on the wall. I used P5 in JavaScript to control the animations and respond to Motion Capture data.
